Programs
Work toward a target recipe: so many points, so long in each zone or intensity.
What to expect
A program is a recipe rather than a schedule: a set of requirements you fill however and whenever you like. Something like 250 zone points, with at least 60 minutes in Zone 2 and 20 minutes at Zone 4 or above.
The app tracks each requirement separately as you train, so you can see at a glance which parts of the recipe you've already covered and which you still owe, whether you fill them in one hard session or spread them across the week.
Why we're building it
A single weekly points target rewards total effort but says nothing about the shape of it. You can hit the same number with one brutal session or with steady easy volume, and those produce very different results. A program lets you say what the mix should be, without prescribing which day you do what.
How it relates to Plans
A program is what you owe. Plans are when you'll do it, the two are separate on purpose, so you can run a program without committing to specific days.
