What to expect
Set your own heart rate boundaries for each zone instead of the standard five-zone split. Your zones then drive everything you actually look at while training: the colours on the live monitor, the zone-change alerts, and the time-in-zone breakdown for every session.
What stays on the standard scale
Zone points and zone speed are deliberately not affected by custom zones. Both are calculated from a linear scale across your heart rate reserve, which is what makes a score comparable, between one of your sessions and another, and between you and anyone else. If custom boundaries moved the scoring curve, a "200 point week" would mean something different for every person who set it up differently, and every comparison in the app would quietly stop working.
So custom zones change how your effort is shown to you. They don't change how it's scored.
Who it's for
Anyone training to boundaries they already trust (from a lab test, a coach, or another platform) who wants the app to speak in those terms while keeping a score that still means the same thing everywhere.
